DSI has experience automating data transfers with both consulting firms and with large, Fortune 500 type, global organizations. While integration with client environments and systems in not required, depending on the scope of the relationship and the frequency of data imports/exports, DSI and its clients may decide to automate a variety of project data.

DSI receives organization and/or employee data to load into our system for use in survey administration, analysis, and reporting. Employee elements might include: Employee ID (or some other identifier unique to a person), first name, last name, and email address (if applicable). Additional elements and demographic information can be collected or included to facilitate record management and /or reporting efforts. We also have the ability to import/export usage data, raw or scored data, historical data, participant lists, or demographics, etc. on a project by project basis.

DSI’s internal software team has expertise integrating with commercially available software (ERP, TMAP, etc) as well as home grown systems. If you require time-sensitive or repetitive updates, we will automate the process, typically using web services, so that data is sent to your end destination with limited or no human intervention. Common file formats used to exchange data include: flat text files, tab delimited files, Excel files, and/or XML files. Moreover, as standards are defined, DSI’s active membership in the HR-XML consortium defining the standards for Performance Management will ensure our systems will integrate seamlessly with other software and database applications.
