Data Solutions International, Inc. (DSI) respects the privacy of the individuals who request information from or visit our website: www.datasolutionsinc.com. The website is designed to provide information about DSI and its services.

 

In general, individuals visiting DSI's website do so anonymously without revealing personal information. Individuals may, but are not required to, supply personal information on DSI's websites. DSI remains liable under the Privacy Shield Principles if the company’s third-party processor onward transfers recipient’s relevant personal information in a manner inconsistent with the Privacy Shield Principles, unless DSI proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.

Software as a Service Privacy Policy

This section of our Privacy Policy is to inform individuals and entities about the Data Solutions International, Inc. (DSI) guidelines regarding DSI's Software as a Service (SaaS) or "for hire" data collection/reporting initiatives.

Data Solutions International, Inc. operates as a data processor; our clients are the data controllers. DSI, as a part of its business service, provides a content and process-neutral platform that allows our clients to administer both paper-based and online surveys, collect data, and report results based on their need for information. Our clients commission projects and configure our system to meet their specifications. At all times the commissioning client is responsible for what data is collected, definition of the scoring approach, the data analysis, the application of results, and adherence to all applicable laws and regulations. Our clients at all times own the data, and the information that is resident on our system is guided by our clients' privacy policy. Data Solutions does not disseminate data collected or survey results to non-commissioning clients. Moreover, DSI does not sell, publish, or otherwise transfer data to third parties. Your data may be included generically in research, in aggregate group reporting, and/or used to develop norm data for use in reporting.

 

We may disclose survey information in the following situations: (a) in response to a subpoena, court order or legal process, to the extent permitted and required by law; (b) to protect user security or the security of other persons, consistent with applicable laws; or (c) in connection with a sale, joint venture or other transfer to some or all of the assets of Data Solutions International Inc, in such cases DSI will ensure that the agreed level of protection is fully continued.

Our goal is to adhere to policies that ensure the highest level of confidentiality and security for users of our SaaS offerings. Each of our employees has signed a statement to uphold confidentiality and non-disclosure. In order to provide a secure Internet experience for our customers all data transmissions over the Internet are encrypted using 256-bit https (secured hypertext transfer protocol) standards and the data is secured behind firewalls. Additionally, DSI can assign user names and passwords to control access and/or administrative rights according to project specifications. Cookies are used to tie user requests together into a single session and are session cookies. No personal information is stored in cookies. When requested by clients, we will archive collected data and results for future comparative analysis. In the event that one of our clients requests that data is to be either returned or destroyed, we would immediately comply.

Within the scope of this privacy notice, if a privacy complaint or dispute cannot be resolved through Data Solutions International, Inc.’s internal processes, Data Solutions International, Inc. has agreed to participate in the VeraSafe Privacy Shield Dispute Resolution Procedure.
